Pictures and Background

My home in PA
This picture was taken from the road in front of my parents' house. When I was growing up, those pines in the background were open fields stretching back to the woods in the far background.

Susquehannah River from old Lauxmont farm site

The river in the background is the Susquehanna. This picture was taken from a hillside about a mile and a half from my highschool, Eastern York High School in Wrightsville, PA. The river can be seen from the east wing of the high school, which was the Junior High wing when I attended Eastern. Farther up Mt. Pisgah, above the high school, is the Sam Lewis State Park, and between the hillside where this picture was taken and the high school are farmland and orchards. After I graduated, a separate Junior High building was added. In recent years, the old school was demolished, and a new Senior High built just behind where the old school sat.
