Confucius: Teacher and Philosopher

This picture of Confucius shows a slender old man with a full mustache and long glowing beard sitting on a stool.  On top of his grey hair, he wears a head covering of dark cloth wrapped around his skull and draped over his shoulders.  He is draped in a loose flowing robe, a green plant fastened to one lapel.  His undergarments are loose flowing blue robes.  The end of a sheath extends below his robe as well as an ornamental wide belt.  His hands are clasped.
