Using the Dropbox
All written papers must be submitted in the Dropbox. Students will also go to the dropbox for the instructions for each of these assignments. The dropbox will list what assignments students will be submitting for the semester, when those assignments will become available for students to begin working on them, and when the assignments will be due. Once students submit an assignment, they can double check to make sure they have submitted the right paper by clicking on the link to their submitted paper in the Submissions column.
It is each student's responsibility to verify that assignments have been submitted to the Dropbox before assignment deadlines. All deadlines will follow Chattanooga time. Students who wait until the last minute to submit assignments may find that minute has passed them by. All written assignments are required for this course. Failing to submit an assignment by the assignment deadline will result in a zero for that assignment. Students will then have one week to submit the assignment, or they will be assigned a failing semester grade for the course.
Once the paper has been graded by the instructor, student will be able to view feedback on the paper by clicking on the link in the Feedback column. Until a paper has been submitted, it will not show up in the Submissions column. Until it has been graded, there will not be a link in the Feedback column. See the following image for details.
Once an assignment is available, students will be able to click on the assignment (The assignment name will have changed to a link). This will take students to the submission page which will also have the instructions for the assignment. See the following example:
